Clinical Labs

From sample preparation to final result reporting, efficiency and consistency are essential in the clinical laboratory. Managing multiple testing workflows while maintaining quality and turnaround expectations requires solutions that support every step of the process.

HemoCue supports the plasma free hemoglobin workflow from centrifugation through results in the laboratory. The HemoCue® Plasma/Low Hb System gives quantitative plasma free hemoglobin results within 60 seconds after centrifugation. Offering an FDA-cleared test that avoids the limitations and additional work required for high complexity manual spectrophotometry laboratory developed tests (LDTs).

For rapid plasma separation, HemoCue offers StatSpin® centrifuges to help streamline hemolysis assessment from sample preparation through analysis. In addition, HemoCue’s point-of-care hemoglobin and glucose systems can be used across laboratory environments, helping support fast, reliable results when and where they are needed.
