Control material

The ability to verify the proper functioning of a system is an integral part of point-of-care testing and using a liquid control for this purpose is a common procedure. Ideally, a liquid control should perform and be as similar as possible to the sample material for which the methods are intended and developed.

HemoCue recommends control materials from two different manufacturers.
