In diabetes diagnostics, the HemoCue® Glucose 201 DM RT System is a portable and battery-operated system with room temperature microcuvette storage and data management, used to measure blood glucose levels. The system provides the highest accuracy at the point of care while minimizing the risk of spreading infection.

The HemoCue® Glucose 201 DM RT Analyzers are factory-set to provide results in either Plasma Equivalent or whole blood values. It is not possible to change this setup.

Please visit the HemoCue Web Academy to enroll in product trainings.

For arterial or venous samples, you can use the following anticoagulants: EDTA, sodium heparin or lithium heparin.

The single-pack HemoCue® Glucose RT Microcuvettes should be stored outside of the fridge, at room temperature (0-30° C) until their expiration date.
